Gmundnerberghaus
Tradition meets modernity. High above Lake Traunsee, the Gmundnerberghaus was wrapped in a new robe, newly taken over by TV chef Mike Süsser and business partner David Daxner. In keeping with the culinary concept, the well-thought-out interior pays homage to the alpine way of life. Rustic wooden elements, as well as an old tiled stove, are combined with modern design to create a contemporary elegance. The large panoramic windows allow guests to enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lake. The color scheme of greens and terracotta emphasizes this and puts nature in the spotlight. Round tables encourage communication, while comfortable seating offers supreme comfort. A Chef's Table, an inviting lounge with adjoining bar and a flexibly usable event room make the Berghaus at 822m above sea level a place to linger.
